Accident and Emergency Department
Our Accident & Emergency Department operates 24 hours daily and is manned by a team of experienced doctors and trained nurses to handle medical and surgical needs. Fully-equipped to handle emergencies, the Emergency Department also serves as a primary care clinic where patients are diagnosed by our Medical Officers.
Triage System
Our A&E practice the triage system. Priority will be given to the critical nature of illness and not the time of arrival.

Red | 1 | EMERGENCY Life threatening emergency resulting in death or permanent disability. | Immediate |
Yellow | 2 | URGENT Potentially life threatening emergency that may result in death or permanent disability | 30 Minutes |
Green | 3 | DELAY No life threatening condition. Does not require stabilisation or monitoring. Treatment can be delayed for few hours. | 60 Minutes |

Simplified signs that could indicate an emergency
- Life-Threatening Situations: Severe pain, uncontrolled bleeding, or serious injuries.
- Altered Mental State: Sudden confusion, unconsciousness, or strange behaviour.
- Difficulty Breathing: Trouble breathing deeply or shortness of breath.
- Severe Allergic Reactions: Swelling, difficulty breathing, or widespread hives.
- Seizures: Uncontrolled or prolonged seizures.
- Signs of Stroke: Sudden numbness, confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty walking.
- Traumatic Injuries: Serious injuries from accidents, falls, or other incidents.
- Chest Pain or Discomfort: Persistent or severe chest pain.
- Difficulty Speaking: Sudden trouble speaking or slurred speech.
- Severe Pain: Intense and persistent pain, especially with other symptoms.
